SING-LLOYD European Office have attended one of the world's largest maritime exhibitions - POSIDONIA 2024

At the beginning of June our colleagues from the SING-LLOYD European Office have attended one of the world's largest maritime exhibitions - POSIDONIA 2024. The purpose of the visit was the search for new business contacts, the study of advanced technologies, as well as meetings with existing partners participating in the exhibition.

Today, POSIDONIA is one of the largest exhibitions of the marine industry in the world. This year's event was held in Athens, Greece at the modern Metropolitan Expo Centre from 3rd to 7th June. The exhibition is held once every two years. In 2024, more than 2,000 exhibitors took part in the exhibition. Most of the topics announced at the exhibition, including topics of conferences and seminars were devoted to ecology, environmental protection, energy efficiency, alternative energy sources, green technologies, etc.

During the event, new business contacts were established with few Maritime Administrations, insurance brokers and others. A warm meeting was held with our long-term existing partner – the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration - SLMARAD during the exhibition, as well as at an event arranged by the SLMARAD. We hope that such meetings will serve further to strengthen our ties and long-term cooperation.

Visiting the world's largest exhibitions and forums allows us to be always aware of the latest market trends, as well as establish new business contacts with leading experts in the marine industry and further acquire reliable business partners.
